ALL DAY FUNDRAISING PUNK GIG TO MARK THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CHERNOBYL NUCLEAR DISASTER
The gig took place on Sunday 30th April at Rockers, Midland St. Glasgow
AND if you missed it then you should be feeling sorry for yourself cos ....
the whole day was absolutely brilliant!!
So good infact that I didn't get my voice back until 3 days after the gig!
bUt thats a sure sign that i enjoyed meself!
the whole day went smoothly (as far as i'm aware?) & the whole gig was great & all the bands were on top form!
everyone I spoke to was having a great time, myself included (till the beer ran out!! - canny believe that!!! lol)
I honestly couldn't have asked for a better day!
so..... THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS to one & all for coming along & showing your support for a worthy cause & for supporting all the bands who played!!!!

THE RAFFLE
went kinda well (?) - even tho we ran out of time we still managed to get rid of all the top notch goodies! - one lucky fellow fae Falkirk won the tickets for Wasted in Blackpool, tho little does he know he has to take me with him cos I've no got ma ticket yet! *hint hint* lol
A BIG, big thanks to Darren & Jennie for their overwhelming generosity & kind donation of 2 full weekend tickets to the last ever (*sniff*) Holidays In The Sun // Wasted Punk Fest, Blackpool Winter Gardens 10th-13th August!!
A big thanks to those lovely folks @ Visionary who donated a double set DVD of the 1st Holidays In The Sun Punk Festival which marked the 20th anniversary of Punk at Blackpool Winter Gardens way back in the summer of 1996 (God I feel Auld!!)

but the main thing is .... from the proceeds of the gig itself we raised a grand total of £785.21 for CHERNOBYL CHILDREN LIFELINE!!!! (reg charity No: 1014274)
since then the amount has risen to give a final total of £850!! from further donations from an anonymous source (you know who you are Dave!)

I believe there is gonna be a video of the gig for sale through Anarchoi Fanzine - again proceeds rasied from the sale of these will be going to the charity
